• Established all of his career highs during the Georgia Fall Invitational.
• Qualified for the 2012 United States Olympic Trials in the 200 and 400 freestyle and the 200 and 400 individual medley
High School:
• Graduated from Etowah High where he was coached by Tracye Bulger.
• Competed for Stingrays Swimming under Coach Ian Goss.
• Was the 2011 high school state champion in the 200 individual medley.
• Was a member of the 2011 World Junior Championships team.
