    2011

    • Student-athletes combined to earn a department-wide grade point average of 3.00 in the spring semester
    • 53% of all student-athletes earned a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the spring semester
    • 13 of 17 teams earned a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the spring semester
    • 32 student-athletes earned a perfect grade point average of 4.0 during the academic year, including Drew Butler and Aaron Murray
    • Football ranked #2 in the Southeastern Conference with a multi-year APR score of .976
    • Men's Cross Country earned the highest team grade point average for the year with a 3.36
    • 44 football student-athletes earned a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the spring semester
    • 8 teams finished in the SEC's top 3 for multi-year APR scores in their respective sports
    • Across all sports, the GSR for student-athletes increased again and posted at an all-time high of 79%

    2010

    • 21 scholarship football players and a total of 45 football players earned a 3.0 or higher for spring 2010
    • 52.9% of student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher in spring 2010
    • 9 of 17 teams earned team GPA's of 3.0 or higher in spring 2010
    • 16 of 17 teams earned team GPA's of 2.7 or higher in spring 2010
    • 38 student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 during the 2009-2010 academic year

    2009

    • Football ranked #1 in the SEC for APR - True again this year…also tied for first among all top-25 football programs nationwide
    • Football earned a new team record 2.876 for the spring, 2009 term
    • 24 scholarship football players and a total of 46 football players earned a 3.0 or higher for spring 2009 term
    • 51.8% of student athletes earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher this spring
    • 11 of 17 teams earned team GPA’s of 3.0 or higher this spring
    • 14 of 17 teams earned team GPA of 2.7 or higher this spring
    • Student-athletes combined for an all-time record high department GPA of 3.01
    • 43 student-athletes earned a 4.0 during the 2008-2009 academic year

    2008

    • Football ranked #1 in the SEC for APR
    • Football earned a team record 2.78 GPA for spring, 2008 term
    • 25 scholarship football players earned a 3.0 or higher for spring, 2008 term
    • More than half of all student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher this spring
    • 10 of 17 teams earned team GPA’s of 3.0 or higher this spring
    • 15 of 17 teams earned team GPA’s 2.7 or higher this spring
    • Student-athletes combined to earn a GPA of 2.93
    • 40 student-athletes earned a 4.0 during the 2007-08 academic year

    2007

    • One of the highest grade point averages in program history during 2006-2007
    • Improved GSR scores in four men’s sports
    • Over the last two years, nine women’s teams have earned GSR scores of 90% of higher
    • Football APR scores released during the Spring of 2007 rank UGA among the top ten of all BCS conference schools
    • Since Coach Richt’s arrival at UGA, 95 football players have earned degrees; another 14 players are scheduled to graduate this December
    • 50 football players earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the ’06 Fall Semester
    • APR scores released during Spring of 2007 ranks men’s basketball second in the southeastern conference behind Vanderbilt
    • Half of all student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.0 or better for Spring ’07
    • Nearly 200 student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.5 or better for one or both semesters for 2006-2007
    • Female athletes earned a cumulative GPA of 2.93 with seven women’s teams earning a 3.0 or better for the academic year
    • Gymnastics won its third national championship in a row and captured the Faculty Athletics Representatives Award for the team with the highest GPA (3.35)
    • A total of 42 student-athletes earned a 4.0 term GPA during the academic year
    • Claire Maust, swimmer, was selected as an NCAA Woman of the Year finalist and awarded an NCAA postgraduate scholarship
    • Kellie Middleton, softball, and Brendon Todd, men’s golf, were awarded SEC postgraduate scholarships
    • Courtney Kupets, gymnastics, and Kasi Carroll, softball, were recognized as First Team CoSIDA Academic All-Americans.
    • Former football player John DeGenova was recognized as an amazing student.
    • Student athlete Nicole DeMarco knows how to have fun and work hard. She is a student athlete who has won numerous awards for academic achievement.
