Ted White joined the Georgia staff as Director of the Rankin M. Smith, Sr., Student-Athlete Academic Center in May, 2006, after serving three years as Director of the Academic Center for Student-Athletes at LSU.

White was named Senior Associate Athletic Director - Student Development in July, 2014, and promoted to Executive Associate Athletic Director in July, 2016.

His duties include the overall supervision of the Center and it's staff and oversight of the academic support for all UGA student-athletes. A member of the senior staff, Ted also serves as the Sport Facilitator for Baseball and Equestrian.



Prior to his tenure at LSU, White held positions as a Management Team Member and Director of Academic Support at the University of California, Berkeley, and Coordinator of Academics and Eligibility at the University of California, Davis.



He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego, where he was a member of the baseball team, and a Master's Degree in Sport Management from the University of Richmond.



He is the proud father of two children, Jack and Sophie.
