Ted White was named Director of the Rankin M. Smith, Sr., Student-Athlete Academic Center in May, 2006, after serving three years as Director of the Academic Center for Student-Athletes at LSU.
His duties include the overall supervision of the Center and it's staff and oversight of the academic support for all UGA student-athletes. A member of the senior staff, Ted also serves as the Sport Facilitator for Baseball and Equestrian.
Prior to his tenure at LSU, White held positions as a Management Team Member and Director of Academic Support at the University of California, Berkeley, and Coordinator of Academics and Eligibility at the University of California, Davis.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego, where he was a member of the baseball team, and a Master's Degree in Sport Management from the University of Richmond.
He is the proud father of two children, Jack and Sophie.
