Karen Huff has been with the University of Georgia Athletic Association since 1997 in the Sports Communications office and now serves as Media Operations Coordinator.
Huff assisted at the 2004 SEC Football Media Days in Birmingham, Alabama, the 2006 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the 2009 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament in Duluth, Georgia and the 2013 NCAA Women's Golf Championship in Athens. While managing the Sports Communications office, she also coordinates media opportunities with the mascot, interviews for the weekly WSB TV show and 680 The Fan radio show, press conferences, credentials, and the FTP program.
She served on the UGAAA Annual Planning committee in 2012 and the UGAAA Professional Support Staff committee during 2001, 2002, 2010 and 2011. She is a member of the staff that won the Football Writer's Association "Super 11 SID Department for Outstanding Service Provided" five years in a row - 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 - and is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Prior to working with Georgia athletics, Huff spent seven years as an office assistant and bookkeeper with the Oconee County School System and operated a bookkeeping business for ten years in Virginia.
Huff earned a Business Administration degree from the University of North Georgia and attends the University of Georgia. She and her husband live in Watkinsville, Georgia, and have three children and three granddaughters.
