Ben Beaty was promoted to Assistant Sports Communications Director in January 2009 after previously serving as a graduate assistant. He has worked and traveled with Georgia's nationally ranked gymnastics, tennis, football, baseball and soccer teams since arriving in Athens in 2007.
A native of Clayton, Ala., Beaty received a finance degree from Auburn in 2007. While at Auburn, Beaty worked as a student assistant in the Tigers' media relations office. He assisted in various sports and served as a contact for the men's golf team. Beaty earned a master's degree in sport management from Georgia in December 2008.
