Fifty-one UGA Student-Athletes Named To Fall 2011 SEC Academic Honor Roll

ATHENS, Ga. --- Fifty-one student-athletes from the University of Georgia have been named to the 2011 Fall Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll according to an announcement by the SEC office.

Georgia's 51 fall student-athletes honored are the third most of all 12 SEC institutions. Student-athletes must meet the following criteria to be eligible for nomination to the Academic Honor Roll: hold a 3.00 or higher grade point average either for the previous academic year or cumulative at the nominating institution, have completed 24 semester hours of academic credit toward a baccalaureate degree and the student-athlete must have been a member of a varsity team for the sport's entire NCAA Championship segment.
