Georgia swimmer Martin Grodzki became just the third Bulldog win multiple NCAA titles in a career - and he did so in the same meet - winning both the 1,650 free and the 500 free at the 2012 NCAA Championships. Grodzki's time of 14:24.08 in the 1,650 gave him the title over Stanford's Chad LaTourette and broke the U.S. Open and NCAA records of 14:26.62 set by Michigan's Chris Thompson all the way back in 2001. Grodzki's swim also broke the UGA record of 14:26.86 set in 2008.
