Former walk-on who has carved a valuable and productive niche for himself as a versatile reserve. Consistently brought a high level of intensity to the court, particularly on defense.
2007-08 Season Career scoring high of 11 points came in Georgia’s win over rival Georgia Tech. It resulted in his only collegiate starting assignment in the Bulldogs’ next game at Mississippi State. Assisted Dave Bliss on the winning basket in Georgia’s first-round win over Ole Miss at the SEC Tournament. Dished off to Bliss after a court-length drive through the Rebels’ pressing defense. Played key roles in both of Georgia’s SEC Tournament victories on March 15. Scored eight points in both contests, including a pair of clinching free throws in overtime against Kentucky.
2006-07 Season Was a relatively obscure sub until the season’s homestretch, when the knee injury to Mike Mercer created an opportunity for an increased role. Played key minutes in a handful of late contests, most notably at Kentucky (5 pts, 15 min.) and post-season games vs. Florida and Fresno State. Impressed coaches with his energy on both ends of the floor. Selected to the 2007 SEC Academic Honor Roll at season’s end.
2005-06 Season Joined the Bulldogs in early January. Appeared in one game, the home contest against Vanderbilt, and played the final minute.
High School (Cross Keys) Scored over 1,500 points in his career at Cross Keys. Averaged 22 points and 9 rebounds per game as a senior. Senior class Vice-President and a member of the National Honor Society and the National Beta Club. Also played baseball at Cross Keys.
