2008-09 Season
• Stress fracture in right tibia, and the subsequent surgery to repair it, forced Anyaorah to miss entire season and take a redshirt. Injury occurred just before the start of pre-season practice.
• Practiced with the Bulldogs during the latter stages of the ‘09 season.
High School
• Averaged 26.3 points -- second-best in Gwinnett County behind fellow UGA freshman Howard Thompkins of the Wesleyan School -- and 8.3 rebounds last season for North Gwinnett, which went 14-12 overall.
• Had a career scoring high of 43 points.
• Named to the 5A All-State team last season by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Assn.
• Also named to the North squad for the annual GACA All-Star game.
• Also participated in football at North Gwinnett.
• Played small forward as a 10th grader, averaging 12 points per game, before moving to shooting guard for his last two seasons. Averaged 16 points and 5.0 rebounds in 2007.
