2008-09 Season • A 17-game starter at point guard for the Bulldogs, including the last 13 games of the season. • As productive as any player on the team during the season’s homestretch. • Ranked third on the team in scoring with 7.4 points per game. • Ranked 3rd among all SEC freshmen in assists at 3.4/game. Also ranked 6th among all rookies in 3-point shooting percentage. • Became the first UGA freshman to hand out 100 assists since Rashad Wright in 2001. • Showed improvement with virtually every game, particularly in the season’s latter half. • SEC season scoring high came in the regular season’s final week, when his 18 points helped to propel the Bulldogs to a rare victory at Kentucky.
High School • Led North Cobb Christian School to an amazing record in his four years. Three of the four Eagle teams he played on captured the Georgia Independent Schools Assn. (GISA) state AAA title (2005-07-08). The 2008 team, which finished 35-0, won the National Assn. of Christian Athletes national Division I championship, a tournamnent for which he was named Most Valuable Player. • Scored 669 points points as a senior (19.7 average), shooting 49 percent from the field and 89 percent from the line. Also averaged 8.2 assists, 4.2 steals and 2.8 rebounds in his senior year. • Rated the no. 32 point guard prospect in the country by Rivals.com. • Also named to the North squad for the annual GACA All-Star game. • Four-time AAA GISA All-State selection. • Averaged 25.2 points and 8.1 assists as a junior, 22 points and 7.0 assists as a 10th-grader.
