2009-10 (Junior Season):
• Named the recipient of the Dick Copas-Lloyd Liebler Endowed Scholarship.
2008-09 (Sophomore Season):
• Named Second-Team All-America by PING and the Golf Coaches Association of America.
• Selected for the PING All-Southeast Region Team by the GCAA.
• Named First-Team All-Southeastern Conference by the league’s coaches.
• Named to the watch list for the 2009 Ben Hogan Award.
• Claimed medalist honors at the Isleworth Invitational, becoming the fourth Bulldog in five years to win the event.
• Chosen as the National Player of the Week by Golfweek and the SEC Golfer of the Week after winning the Isleworth and coming in ninth at the Brickyard Collegiate.
• Named to Golfweek’s Preseason All-America Second Team.
2007-08 (Freshman Season):
• Named Second-Team All-America by PING and the GCAA.
• Chosen for the National All-Freshmen Team by the GCAA.
• Named Second-Team All-SEC and to the SEC All-Freshmen Team in voting conducted by the league’s coaches.
• Chosen for the PING All-Southeast Region Team by the GCAA.
• Claimed co-medalist honors at the NCAA East Regional for the first victory of his collegiate career.
• Fired a 13-under 200 at the East Regional, the second-best figure and the fourth-best under-par tally in school history.
• Earned the Team Effort Regional Champion Award as presented by the GCAA.
• Named to the watch list for the 2008 Jack Nicklaus Award.
Amateur/Junior Highlights:
• Won the 2008 and 2009 Georgia Amateur titles, lowering the scoring record to 10-under in 2008 and 16-under in 2009.
• Named the GSGA’s Junior Player of the Year in 2005 and 2006.
• In 2005, became the youngest Georgian ever to qualify for the U.S. Open Sectional.
• In 2005, was the youngest male in the 48-year history of the Macon-Middle Georgia Championship to win that event.
• Reached as high as No. 6 nationally in the Junior Golf Scoreboard poll.
• Placed ninth in the 2005 U.S. Junior.
• Was the low medalist in the Georgia-South Carolina Cup in 2006.
• Won the 2006 GSGA Junior Golf Championship after placing third in 2004 and fourth in 2005.
• Played in the Georgia-South Carolina Challenge Match in 2004, 2005 and 2006, compiling a match-play record of 5-0-1.
• Finished second in the Big I National Tournament in 2006.
• Was a member of the 2007 Junior World Cup Championship Team that played in Japan.
• Finished in the top 10 in the 2007 Dogwood Invitational.
• Placed second in the 2005 Idlehour Peach Blossom 2-Ball Championship in 2005.
High School:
• Graduated from Stratford Academy.
• Led the Eagles to Georgia Independent Schools Association state championships in 2004 and 2005.
• Was the state individual medalist in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
• Was named to the GISA All-State Team in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
• Twice earned All-State honors in basketball.
