Amateur/Junior Highlights: • Won the 2007 Georgia Amateur Championship. • According to the GSGA, he was the third-youngest player to win the event, following only Bobby Jones in 1916 and Charlie Yates in 1931. • Finished 14th at the 2007 U.S. Amateur. • Placed eighth at the 2007 Southeastern Amateur. • Won the 2004 Southern Junior. • Made it to the round of 32 in the 2006 U.S. Junior. • Placed fifth at the 2007 Georgia Junior. • Recorded 16 victories on the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour, including two Tour Championships and two Tournaments of Champions. • Had three top-5 finishes in American Junior Golf Association events. • Was chosen as the 2001 Southeastern Junior Player of the Year. • Won the Future Masters events in 2002 and 2004.
