Eleventh after the first round and seventh after the second round, the Bulldogs fired a 5-under-par 283 on Sunday to wind up at 6-over 870. Team honors went to host UNLV at 9-under 855.
“Our goal every week is to win, so we are disappointed that we didn’t accomplish that,” Georgia coach Chris Haack said. “At the same time, I am proud of the way our guys hung in there and fought back. It would have been easy to pack it in after the first round, but they didn’t do that. We can build on that was we go forward.”
