2007-08 Season ◊ Enjoyed an extremely solid initial campaign in Athens, culminating with honorable mention All-America recognition from both the NGCA and Golfweek. ◊ Also tabbed second-team All-SEC and named to the Freshman All-SEC squad. ◊ Finished the campaign ranked No. 39 in both the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index and Golfstat’s head-to-head rankings. ◊ Led the Bulldogs with 11 par-or-better rounds and tied for team-high honors (with Garrett Phillips) with top-10 (four) and top-20 (six) individual finishes. ◊ Georgia's top individual finisher at five of eight tournaments during the 2008 calendar portion of the slate – the Lady Puerto Rico, LSU/Cleveland Golf and Liz Murphey Classics, as well as the SECs and NCAA East Regional. ◊ One of the nation's hottest golfers from March through May when she posted four top-10s in six tournaments...and also was third entering the final round at the PING/ASU Invitational. ◊ Rose 50 spots in the Golfstat Cup during that span...from No. 96 on March 11 to No. 46 in the final rankings.
Prep/Amateur ◊ A native golf’s Garden of Eden – St. Andrews, Scotland. ◊ Winner of a half dozen Scottish national championships: the 2006 Under 21 Championship (shooting 20-under, including a 10-under 64), the 2005 and 2006 Under 18 stroke play titles, the 2004 Under 18 match play title and the 2004 and 2005 Under 16 crowns. ◊ Posted a perfect 3-0 record during the 2008 Curtis Cup at St. Andrews, teaming with Sally Watson to win a pair of four-ball matches and defeating Mina Harigae in singles play. ◊ The previously mentioned 2008 Curtis Cup success headlines an international resume that includes six major international competitions representing Great Britain or Scotland since 2006. ◊ Finished with a 2-1 record while competing for the Great Britain & Ireland squad against Europe during the 2007 Vagliano Trophy in her home county of Fife. ◊ Played for the Scottish team at the 2007 European Girls Team Championships, finishing with a 4-1 record in three dual matches. ◊ Helped Great Britain won the 2007 Five Nation’s Commonwealth Tournament, its first victory at the event since 1991. ◊ Represented Scotland at the 2006 World Amateur Championships and the 2008 European Ladies Team Championships, where she finished 15th in stroke play qualifying. ◊ Reached to the quarterfinals of the 2007 Ladies British Amateur after advancing to the third round in 2006. ◊ Advanced the quarterfinals of the 2005 Girls’ British Amateur. ◊ Captured the 2006 St Rule Trophy at St. Andrews after posting an 11-under tally that fell just one stroke shy of the tournament record. ◊ Led Scotland to victories at the 2006 and 2007 Girls’ Home International Matches, an annual competition pitting Scotland versus teams from England, Ireland and Wales. Also helped Scotland to a second-place finish in 2005. ◊ Posted a combined 14-3-1 record in foursomes and singles competition during the 2005-07 Girls' Home International Matches. ◊ Also represented Scotland at the 2006 Ladies Home International Matches. ◊ Began playing golf as a 4-year-old and started competing when she was six. ◊ Received special permission from club members to play her first round on The Old Course when she was just 12.
