2009-2010 (Sophomore Season)
• Named the recipient of the Vickie and Leon Farmer Scholarship.
2008-2009 (Freshman Season)
• Won national championship in the 500 freestyle at the NCAA Championship, earning All-America status.
• Earned additional All-America honors in the 200 freestyle and the 400 and 800 freestyle relays.
• Finished third in the 200 freestyle, second in the 800 freestyle relay and fourth in the 400 freestyle relay at NCAAs.
• Named the SEC Freshman of the Year and named to the SEC All-Freshman Team following the SEC Championship.
• Named First Team All-SEC after winning the 500 freestyle.
• Clinched school-record 200 freestyle time in leading off the 800 free relay team, which finished with a new school record, at the SEC Championships.
• Swam the lead leg of the second place 400 free relay team, which set a new school record, was second in the 200 freestyle and was fifth in the 100 freestyle at the SECs.
• Holds program records in the 200 and 500 freestyle and with the 400 and 800 free relays and is fifth-fastest in the 100 freestyle and sixth-fastest in the 200 butterfly all-time.
• Joined team in January after missing the first semester due to the Beijing Olympics.

• Graduated from Canton High School.
• Swam for Club Wolverine and Coach Bob Bowman.
• Named the 2008 Michigan Female High School Athlete of the Year by the Detroit Athletic Club.
• Was a two-time Michigan High School Swimmer of the Year.
• Was the Michigan high school state champion in the 200 and 500 freestyle in 2006 and 2007, setting the state record in both events.
• Earned All-America honors 10 times.
• Named All-State eight times and to the All-State relay three times.
• Set Canton High School records nine events.
• Named the 2007-08 Canton High Female Athlete of the Year.
• Was Canton’s Most Valuable Swimmer for four years.
International
• Won the bronze at the 2008 Olympics as a member of the 4x200 freestyle relay that set the American record.
• Earned silver in the 200-meter free with an American-record time of 1:54.96 at the 2009 FINA World Championships.
• Swam the anchor leg of the U.S. 4x200-meter freestyle relay that came in second at the FINA World Championships.
• Ranked fifth in the 200 freestyle and 11th in the 400 freestyle in the world.
• Set the National Age Group (17-18) record in the 200 free with a 1:55.92.
• Qualified for the 2008 Olympic Trials in six events.
• Was a member of the 2007 USA Team for the Japan International Grand Prix.
• Was a member of the 2007 USA National Junior Team.
