How do I get 2009 UGA Football Season Tickets?

ATHENS, Ga. --- To be eligible to purchase 2009 UGA football renewable season tickets, join The Georgia Bulldog Club by making a contribution to the William C. Hartman Jr. Fund. The William C. Hartman Jr. Fund is the priority seating system for football. All gifts to this fund are 80% tax deductible and allow donors the opportunity to purchase season tickets, away game tickets, single home game tickets and SEC Championship Game (when Georgia participates) and Bowl Game tickets. Additional benefits, such as parking and media guides, are provided to William C. Hartman Jr. Fund donors based on their annual donation.
The deadline for making a donation to the William C. Hartman Jr. Fund to be eligible to purchase 2009 University of Georgia football season tickets is February 15, 2009. All Hartman Fund contributors will receive a season ticket application in early March, with an order deadline of March 31, 2009. Season tickets are assigned after the March 31st deadline based on the following criteria:
- Annual Contribution – As a first time contributor we encourage you to make a contribution you are comfortable with to build your priority points. While each Section in Sanford Stadium has a per seat donation associated with it, making this donation does not guarantee you will receive season tickets. The actual donation to obtain new season tickets may be higher than the per seat contribution listed.
- Priority Points – All Hartman Fund contributors are put in rank order based on their priority points. Relocation requests, assignment of additional seats as well as assignment of new seats are made in rank order. Current season ticket holders will retain their same seats upon renewal, regardless of their priority points.
- Availability – Sanford Stadium was sold out for the 2008 season. Not knowing the attrition rates for 2009, we can only project the necessary points to obtain season tickets. All seats are subject to availability. Making a contribution to the Hartman Fund and paying for season tickets does not guarantee you will receive them.
For those interested in contributing to the William C. Hartman Jr. Fund, it is encouraged that one does so online at georgiadogs.com. All William C. Hartman Jr. Fund online contributors will be entered into a drawing to receive a 2009 UGA Football away game travel package for two. Donating online also allows one to set up an account, view their priority points, view their giving history, update contact information and receive immediate confirmation that the donation has been received.
