2009 Outdoor - Wrapped up his career as a Bulldog by winning his first USA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore., in the javelin with a school-record mark of 275 feet, 2 inches on his second attempt...cruised to his second straight NCAA title in the javelin by nearly 20 feet after breaking his own school record with a throw of 268-4 at the NCAA Championships...named the USTFCCCA South Region Men’s Field Athlete of the Year...captured his second straight NCAA East Regional title in the javelin after launching a facility and meet record throw of 263-7...won his first SEC title in the javelin after reaching a top distance of 261-4 on his opening attempt...needed only a single throw in the javelin to win the Georgia Tech dual meet before passing on his final three attempts...unleashed a fourth throw that traveled an NCAA regional qualifying distance of 265-10 (No. 3 in the nation) to win the Arizona State Invitational by 55 feet.

2008: Outdoor – Finished fourth in the javelin finals at the Olympic Trials after launching a top effort of 244 feet, 5 inches...became the first NCAA javelin champion for the Georgia men after registering a throw of 257-3 during the finals of the NCAA Championships...bounced back from his SEC meet to win the NCAA East Regionals by more than 20 feet with a mark of 247...fouled three times at the SEC Championships...shattered the three-year-old school record in the javelin after launching a six attempt which traveled 268-1 to win the Drake Relays and take control of the national lead...earned his second SEC Male Field Athlete of the Week following Drake...won the Bulldog Limited after unleashing a regional qualifying effort of 232-8...had another regional qualifying mark (236-10) to take second at the Spec Towns Invitational...recorded a personal-best effort of 244-3 in the javelin to win the Jim Click Invitational...debuted for the Bulldogs at the Yellow Jacket Invitational and had a personal-best throw of 241-6, which won the meet and earned him SEC Male Field Athlete of the Week honors.

McNeese State: Personal-best collegiate mark of 238 feet, 10 inches in the javelin, which is the American junior record...Won the USA Junior Outdoor Championships in the javelin after recording a top effort of 226-9...finished second at the Pan-American Junior World Championships in Sao Paulo, Brazil, after registering a mark of 235-7.75.

High School: Personal-best mark of 205-8 in high school under Randy Baggett...Was the 2006 LHSAA AAAAA state runner-up and finished the season with the ninth-best high school throw in the country...Finished second at the USA Junior National Championships...Also was an All-State defensive end and voted as the All-Southwest Louisiana Defensive MVP in football and played baseball at Sulphur High School...Named to the LHSAA Academic All-State team.

Personal: Born Feb. 26, 1988...Son of Jim and Dawn Hill...Brother, Jimbo, plays football for McNeese State...Majoring in Sports Studies.
