Georgia holds a slim 20-17 edge in the series history with Clemson. Last year, the Bulldogs edged the Tigers 4-3 here. Georgia's last visit to Clemson came in 2007 when the Bulldogs won 6-1.
Georgia opened this season with a pair of 7-0 wins over Memphis and Furman. Then, the Bulldogs played host to one of the 15 ITA Kickoff Weekends across the country from Feb. 1-2 where teams looked to advance to the sweet 16 of the USTA/ITA National Team Indoors. Georgia did just that with wins over #53 Ole Miss and #45 Marshall. The Tigers advanced to the National Team Indoors as well after registering home wins over #39 Louisville (4-0) and edging #26 Auburn (4-3).
After the CU match, Georgia will prepare for the National Team Indoors held in Madison, Wis., from Feb. 13-16. The 16-team draw is expected to be released Monday.
