ATHENS, Ga. --- Head coach Mark Richt began Georgia's two-and-a-half-hour, full pads practice on Tuesday by announcing the team's captains for Saturday's game with Tennessee Tech.

Punter Drew Butler, linebacker Rennie Curran, kicker Blair Walsh and tight end Aron White will serve as captains for the Homecoming date. Walsh and White will be serving as captains for the first time in 2009, while Curran will be doing so for the sixth time and Butler for the third occasion.

Earlier on Tuesday, Richt met with the media and gave several updates on the Bulldogs while also discussing Tennessee Tech. He announced that wide receiver A.J. Green will miss this weekend's game and that Caleb King will start at tailback.

Green suffered a rib injury against Florida and is expected to return to action against Auburn on Nov. 14.

"We're not 100-percent certain but the history of this type of an injury by the second week everybody has played to this point, so we don't have any reason to think that he won't," Richt said. "I hope that it is an opportunity for guys to know that they've got to make plays, and they do. Unless Tennessee Tech changes drastically, they challenge you to throw to the wide receivers. Those guys are going to have to make plays, and I'm hoping that they do make plays and gain confidence. In the long run, it may end up being a blessing for us to get some guys some more opportunities."

King will supplant Washaun Ealey, who has started Georgia's previous two games.

"Caleb will start at running back," Richt said. "We're not highly disappointed in Washaun at all. Washaun will continue to play, but Caleb has proved to be the one guy – at least between him and Washaun – that is much stronger in his pass protection right now. He played a pretty solid football game (against Florida)."

Saturday’s kickoff is set for 1:06 p.m. ET, and it will be televised on a pay-per-view basis. Cable and satellite systems in both Georgia and Tennessee will be offered the telecast with an individual subscription price of $29.95. For fans in Georgia and Tennessee, the telecast will also be available on the UGA Athletics official website (www.georgiadogs.com) for $19.95.

Regular “GXtra” subscribers to the website may view the contest for $14.95. The game will be a College Sports Southeast (CSS) production, and it will feature the familiar broadcast team of Matt Stewart (play by play) and Buck Belue (color analyst) plus sideline reporter Sandra Golden.
