Georgia men’s tennis standout, junior Javier Garrapiz, has advanced to the finals of the Wilson/ITA Southeast Regional held at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

En route to today’s final round match against fifth-seed Clint Bowles of Florida State, Garrapiz defeated teammate Drake Bernstein (7-6, 6-3) in the quarterfinals and Florida’s Johnny Hamui (6-2, 6-2).

Garrapiz also teamed up with Bernstein to advance to the doubles semi-finals as well before losing 9-7 to the Florida duo of Benneteau-Lacroix.
